Firefox 136: Vertical Tabs and Security

This feature allows users to manage numerous open tabs more efficiently, providing a clearer overview and reducing clutter.
To enable the sidebar, go to Settings > General and scroll down to the "Browser Layout" section. There you should see a checkbox for Show sidebar. Tick it and you’ll get a narrow sidebar on the left side of the browser window. Then, click the cogwheel icon at the bottom of the sidebar to open sidebar customization, where you can then switch on vertical tabs, move the sidebar to the right, and more.
Beyond aesthetics, Firefox 136 also includes significant security enhancements. The update addresses multiple vulnerabilities, ensuring a safer browsing experience for users. Mozilla's commitment to security is evident in the detailed security advisory report, which highlights the fixes implemented in this release. Furthermore, Firefox 136 now defaults to HTTPS-First, prioritizing secure connections whenever possible.
