Sweet Success: A Unique Tomato Story

In an unexpected turn, the La Palma cooperative in Carchuna, Granada, is the exclusive producer outside of Japan of the unique Amela tomato. This sweet Japanese tomato variety is gaining popularity across Europe and is featured in high-end restaurants like Enigma by Albert Adrià. While not directly an Eni venture, it highlights the diverse and interconnected nature of global business and the growing demand for unique and high-quality agricultural products.
