This mission is a collaborative effort between Firefly and NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program. The CLPS program aims to foster a thriving commercial presence on the Moon. Since landing, Blue Ghost has commenced its surface operations, which include deploying payloads, collecting samples of lunar regolith, and capturing a wealth of images.

But Firefly isn't the only company with its sights set on the Moon. Intuitive Machines is also gearing up for a lunar landing. Their IM-2 Athena lander, carrying rovers, a drone, and a NASA moon drill, is scheduled to attempt a soft landing. The lunar surface is becoming a busy place!
