Australia's most talented craft designers and experts are converging on Perth – for 4 huge days of classes, demonstrations and shopping. CraftAlive Perth runs Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 August at Claremont Showground. Doors open 9.30am to 4pm daily.

WA Quilters and WA Woodturners present their impressive annual events, in partnership with CraftAlive and will feature more than 300 quilts, dominated by the remarkable work of the WA Quilters annual QuiltWest Exhibition, and also beautiful work from the Perth Modern Quilt Guild. For the first time ever, the Woodturners Association of WA present their Major Annual Woodturning Open Competition and Exhibition at the event including artistic and heritage displays and demonstrations. Plus handmade pieces on sale.

CraftAlive is a hands on event with a huge emphasis on classes and learning, for all skill sets and ages. Retailers feature craft supplies, kits and equipment across a wide range of crafts from traditional to modern.

Classes run all four days including appliqué, card making, Cricut, embroidery, fabric painting, felting, mixed media, needle craft, quilting, scrapbooking.
