Majorino, the group leader of the Pd in the Lombardy region, has stated that it is right to abandon the initiative, citing too many shadows in the construction sector. He praised the mayor's clear and firm response to recent judicial developments, indicating a lack of confidence in the project's current trajectory. The Municipality of Milan intends to join as a civil party, as since 2020, they have required managers and officials to declare potential incompatibility conditions.

Milan Stands with Ukraine
Amidst the local political turmoil, Milanese citizens are also engaging with global issues. A demonstration in support of the Ukrainian people took place in front of the United States consulate in Milan. This sit-in, attended by a few dozen people, was organized following the intense confrontation between Zelensky and Trump in the Oval Office of the White House. 
Participants expressed their dismay, labeling the situation "a disgrace, an act of bullying."
