Krásenská Lookout Tower Prepares for its 90th
The unique observation tower near Krásna, nestled in the Sokolov region, is gearing up to celebrate its 90th anniversary this June. The project, estimated to cost around four million crowns, commenced on February 26th and is slated for completion in approximately three months. Great news for accessibility! After thirty years of operation, the cable car near the breathtaking Macocha Abyss in the Moravian Karst (Blanensko) is finally barrier-free. Previously, navigating the lower station posed a significant challenge, especially for wheelchair users, families with strollers, and cyclists. The steep, narrow stairs required considerable effort to overcome.
The upgrade marks a significant improvement for tourism in the area.
