Felix placed third in the triple jump at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for her fourth All-American honor during her career with a record-setting final jump.
Felix jumped 41-4¼ to earn the bronze medal. Victoria Kadiri of Johns Hopkins won the event in 42-9½ with Rainah Dunham of Ursinus second in 41-10.
Felix was seeded 19th coming into the competition and hit her longest jump on her sixth and final try. All six of Felix's jumps in the competition were her longest of the season.
After three jumps, she was in sixth place but steadily moved up on her three jumps in the finals.
"Her final jump was a personal best, a new Middle Atlantic Conference, the 10th best Division III jump all time, and moved her into second place in the competition."
Dunham then overtook both Kadiri and Felix with her jump of 41-10, but Kadiri closed out the tight competition with the final attempt of the evening, hitting her winning jump to defend her title.
With her record-setting performance at this year's Division III meet, it was Felix's fourth All-American honor at Alvernia.
