Airport Strikes Cause Flight Cancellations
Airports in Munich and Hamburg are currently experiencing a two-day warning strike, initiated by the Verdi trade union. The union is fighting for wage increases for public sector workers, and the impact on travelers is significant. 
As a result of the strike, all six flights between Munich and Prague scheduled for Thursday and Friday have been canceled. And unfortunately, there are no direct flights from Prague to Hamburg at the moment either.
Passengers traveling in the north and south of Germany should expect restrictions until Friday night. The cancellations are significant, so it's essential to check with your airline before heading to the airport. "We understand this is frustrating for travelers," a Verdi spokesperson said. "But we are fighting for fair wages for our members."
Other Changes to Watch Out For
Beyond the airport chaos, there are a few other changes to keep in mind this March. Don't forget to set your clocks forward for daylight saving time! Also, if you own a moped or e-scooter, make sure you have the updated insurance registration plates.
